Sustainable Community Visioning Task Force

The Mayor and Town Council formed the Task Force in May 2009 to provide recommendations to the Council on the design and location of future development in Chapel Hill for the next five to ten years. The working group, composed of 26 members, will review the goals and objectives of the Town’s 2000 Comprehensive Plan, along with other planning documents.  

To accomplish the charge, the Task Force plans to engage with the CH community through a range of outreach efforts to inform the public of their work and to gain input.  Meetings are currently scheduled weekly and are open to the public. A report is due to the Town Council the first of December, 2009.
