Orange County Waste Transfer Station

Neighbors for Responsible Growth met with representatives of the Rogers Road community to learn about their concerns in 2008.  We agreed to make a statement in support of the community to the Orange County Commissioners.   Subsequently, the Commissioners voted not to site the transfer station in the Rogers Road community.  A new location proposed by the Mayor of Chapel Hill on Millhouse Road is now under consideration.   See County website for up to date information.  http://www.olver.com/orangecounty/
